“Your signature is what you want the world to see. Your handwriting is who you truly are.”
-Jamie Mason Cohen
Grab a pen and paper and write down this sentence: I told you and your purple people eater friend to take that silly monkey and go back to the darn zoo. Now, sign your name below that phrase.
What do you see? If you’re like most people, you may not see much. But your handwriting speaks volumes about who you are.
On today’s edition of the Grow My Revenue podcast, I speak with international speaker, best-selling author and certified handwriting analyst, Jamie Mason Cohen. Jamie says a person’s handwriting reveals a great deal about a person’s personality and leadership style. Analyzing someone’s handwriting, he says, can be a valuable tool in business to determine whether a job applicant, a colleague, or a professional partner is a good fit for the job.
“Your handwriting is who you truly are,” he says.
Jamie and I talk about the biggest misconceptions people have about handwriting analysis; what your handwriting reveals about you, and why writing things out by hand (versus typing or dictating) makes you smarter.
It’s a fascinating discussion, and you’re going to learn a ton from Jamie Mason Cohen on this edition of Grow My Revenue!
Listen to this episode and discover:
- Why handwriting analysis is a great tool to use when vetting job applicants.
- How the formation of certain letters indicates your level of assertiveness and confidence.
- Why handwriting is still relevant in the age of technology.
- Why taking notes by hand is better than typing them out.
- And so much more…
Jamie Mason Cohen helps detectives profile dangerous criminals, shows you whether or not the person who you’re dating is someone you can trust, can look at any person’s handwritten signature and instantly tell them something inspiring about themselves that will make them say, “WOW” and reveals fascinating things about today’s celebrities and newsmakers that they don’t even share with their closest friends.
He is a certified handwriting analyst, graphotherapist, a TEDx speaker and a #1 Amazon best-selling author who once worked for Saturday Night Live in New York.
In this episode, Jamie talks about:
- The difference large letters versus small ones make when it comes to gauging a person’s confidence.
- What it says about someone when they write with a slight upward (or downward) slant.
- What your signature says about you.
- Why you should write out your notes instead of typing them out.
“The act of writing does not start in your hand. The act of writing starts in your brain,” Jamie says. “Your writing paints a picture of what you think.”
